Dashboard Overview: Your Subscription Command Center

The Sip Subscriptions dashboard is designed to give you a high-level pulse on your business health and immediate operational needs the moment you log in.

Performance Stat Cards

At the top of your dashboard, you’ll find three real-time metrics that track your growth and reach:

  • Subscriptions: The total number of unique subscription plans you have created (e.g., "Monthly Coffee Club," "Weekly Espresso Roast").
  • Active Subscribers: the count of currently active subscription contracts across your entire store.
  • Est. Monthly Revenue: Your projected monthly income from all active subscriptions.

Note: To provide a clear benchmark, this figure is normalized. For example, a $90 quarterly subscription is calculated as $30 toward your Estimated Monthly Revenue.

Setup Guide

For new installations, the Setup Guide sits prominently on the home page to walk you through the three essential steps: creating a plan, enabling the portal, and adding the storefront widget.

  • The guide tracks your progress in real-time.
  • Once all steps are finished, you can permanently dismiss it by clicking the "X" button to clear space for your analytics.

Upcoming Stock Requirements

Stay ahead of your fulfillment needs with the Mini Forecast Widget. This tool analyzes your upcoming subscription orders for the next 7 days to ensure you never miss a delivery due to low inventory.

How it Works:

If any products are at risk of running out before a scheduled billing event, a warning will appear. The widget provides a detailed breakdown of the shortfall:

Field Description
Product & Variant The specific item and its size/color/type facing a shortage.
Units Needed Total quantity required to fulfill all upcoming subscriptions this week.
Current Stock The actual inventory levels currently recorded in your Shopify admin.
Shortfall Amount The exact number of units you need to restock to fulfill all orders.

Tip: To see your inventory needs beyond the 7-day window, click "View Full Forecast" to access the comprehensive stock planning page.
