Stock Forecast
The Stock Forecast tool in Sip Subscriptions helps you plan ahead by showing which products are needed for upcoming subscription renewals — and whether you have enough inventory to fulfill them.
This report allows you to identify potential stock shortfalls before they affect your customers, helping ensure a smooth fulfillment process and avoiding delays.
What You’ll See
At the top of the Stock Forecast view, you’ll find a quick summary of your inventory status based on upcoming subscription renewals:
- Products in Forecast: Total number of unique products included in upcoming subscription renewals
- Products with Shortfall: Number of products expected to have insufficient inventory to fulfill all upcoming orders
- Total Units Short: The total number of units you’ll be short across all products

If you currently have no upcoming subscription renewals (as shown in the example), all values will display as 0 .
Date Range
Use the Date range dropdown to view forecasts over a selected time period. Options typically include:
- Next 7 days
- Next 14 days
- Next 30 days

This helps you prepare based on short- or mid-term subscription activity.
Filter Options
- Show only shortfalls: Enable this checkbox to filter the view and show only products with expected stock shortages.
- Search product or SKU: Quickly look up a specific product to see its forecast details and any upcoming demand.

Remember: Click Refresh after adjusting filters to update the forecast view.
No Upcoming Renewals?
If you see the message:
No upcoming subscription renewals
That means there are currently no active subscriptions scheduled to renew in the selected time period. Once new renewals are scheduled, this section will automatically populate with relevant data.
